To:- Doge Augusto Tyre,

Thank you for your interest in us helping upgrade your fleet of A-102. While the A-102 is of course not one of our aircraft it is not too disimilar, from what we know, from our own C-137 Puffin. With this in mind we would be able to offer some advancements and modifications relatively simply. For example it is likely our Harvest Hawk system in the C-137 will be compatible for the A-102 with minor modifications giving you an ability to convert an aircraft in the field from transport duties to ground support within 12 hours. Similar upgrades and modifications are going to be likely in other ways too. For us to have a better understanding of what we can offer we would appreciate having an A-102 loaned to us for a week so we can gain a better understanding of its similarities to the C-137.

May The Gods Watch Over You and Your Skies Be Clear.

As your Grace will no doubt be aware EMAC has a long history of being involved in military projects which have seen us trusted with state secrets from several nations. We are proud to say that never during our companies history has their been a breach of these arrangements and I am confident that this will continue in respect to this project.

We shall send two of our test pilots and a team of aircrew made up of our employees with experience onboard the East Moreland C-137 Puffin. We would require the use of an airfield, civilian or military and would like to run various training style operations out of them, during these we would appreciate having an aircrew from your air-force present so we may question them on matters arising. After the week of operation we would then like a meeting with your government to discuss precisely what you would like from this arrangement and then what is possible from our experiences. Should this be acceptable our team can be with you and operational in 48 hours.

To:- Doge Augusto Tyre,

The project you have outlined is not one that at present is avaliable "off the shelf" the use of recovering drones mid-flight is not something that EMAC has been contracted to do as of yet. As such this process will not be a simple case of fixing the required mechanisms. We would be able to complete such a project however would need more details of the type of drone to be used and access to its software so as to be able to assemble the required system to capture a drone mid-flight.

This is an exciting sounding project and naturally we would like to be involved.

To:- Doge Augusto Tyre,

The aircraft frame should, at least in theory be able to house such a system if and when we can develop it. The issue will be the drone itself as naturally this will need to be constrained by the width of the fuselage. As such we believe that current "flying wing" designs will be impractical. What may be the best approach is to retrofit something along the size and shape of a cruise missile and replace the armament systems with various sensors and systems designed for reconnaissance. For this project to progress however we would need an outline for what you would like the drone to achieve. This is an exciting project and we look forward to co-operating further with you.

Best Regards

Sir Alan Maybury.
