Born in 1983 on the outskirts of Novyy Rim (the spiritual capital of Samantra), she was abandoned as a baby at a local church. She spent her entire childhood in an Orthodox orphanage. She was rejected several times by prospective adoptive parents which left deep emotional scars and greatly affected her self-esteem in her early years as an young adult.
She graduated from college with the specialization in the Rus’ language and Samantran history and went on to teach at a local Orthodox school.
She considered numerous times the possibility of becoming a nun but she never followed through. Because of her childhood abandonment and rejection as a child she has shied away from romantic relations throughout her life.
She was recruited in the Republican Party by a local party leader who saw the electoral potential in her. Under his patronage she moved up the ranks and eventually ran for the Duma and won a seat in a Legion stronghold Novyy Rim, a first for the Republican Party. From there her career took off as many in the Republican Party leadership backed her because of her appeal to the very religious segments of the Samantran population something the Republican Party had always struggled with.
She was the first ever elected Republican President of the Duma and the first ever elected woman as President of the Duma something she has never mentioned or celebrated in her speeches or public life.
