The Lodjain Court - OOC

A character driven RP of sorts, not sure how it will go but picture Chanal University but for posh people.

The concept is that the Lodjains have an Island almost exclusively for the Queen's household and court. The Palace intends to create a kind of informal system of ambassadors, so for example you may see the Queen of key members of her staff wandering around, stop and chat about some issue.

Several nations have already got an ambassador that has been granted rooms within the Palace.

What I was thinking was having things going on and letting ambassadors interact with key Lodjains, so for example I first plan on the four new candidates for Queen wandering around, so could be a chance for you to get a headstart on improving relations with Lodja. Obviously there are limited rooms so please feel free to sign up. In addition to a suite on the Island they'd likely be a proper embassy in Gaia which is a boat ride or short stroll away. One last thing Lodjain society is very class concious, as such they would only permit someone of "Noble" birth to have accomodation, so for example if your Kaitaine who has abolished nobility you can't apply.

Brief background:- Émile Fava is an Ecclesiatical clergyman and nobleman who currently serves as the Apostolic Nuncio to Lodja. Born as one of two twin brothers in the super-rich family of Fava, the other being the famous Colonel, Archaeologist, Historian, Linguist and College Professor Emmanuel Fava, he was Ordained as a priest on 25 June 1981. Cardinal Fava has a master's degree in theology from the Center of Theological Studies in Fossano, ES, and a Licentiate and Doctorate in Canon Law from the Pontifical Lateran University in Celestis. In 1980, after graduating from the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy, he joined the holy government's diplomatic service. He previously served as Permanent Observer of the Ecclesiastical State to the CMA. He speaks Italian, French, English, and German. Although he is a man of the Church and Servant of God, his Machiavellian manners and cunning intellect will make him stop at nothing in furthering his own ambitions and goals, which include absolute power and control.

Brief background:- The daughter of the Marquis of Mossflower, she's a playful individual with a love for the water (She spends a lot of time on the family yacht) and books, the older the better, she likes reading them and she likes collecting them - her favorites include the Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings and the Redwall series though she's got a guilty pleasure in the darker stories. She's something of a born academic and seen as a role model for younger people in Achkaerin. She's sporty she plays football (soccer) at amateur level and is a huge Mossflower City fan, she's also recently taken up boxing and kick boxing. She has an interesting ocular anomaly that tends to get her a lot of undesired attention - her left eye looks like there's a star in it.

Brief background:- Aliana is the younger sister of Lord Minister of Affairs Serena Bartrove and is being trained by her sister to be her replacement in the situation that the need arises. Because of her relation to a member of the Council of Ten, she is considered Revanan Royalty and has been named a Lady of the Court of Revana, giving her the duties of running some of the more mundane tasks in the Imperial Palace, such as managing paperwork and incoming letters, calls, and emails. She is fascinated in all things fantasy, especially books. In her spare time that she is not reading, she can usually be found in her room painting and sketching things of fantasy, especially fantasy maps for when she is the Dungeon Master of one of her many Dungeons & Dragons sessions.

Brief background:- Son and heir of Frank von Neuhafen, who is Minister of Finance of Herrenbucht. Finished his obligatory years in the military and is therefore now allowed to become an official. He is a quite unexperienced in diplomatics but an open minded man. His job in Lodja is planned to be the first step in his political career in Herrenbucht. At a military academy he was not only teached the art of war and combat tactics, but also etiquette, loyalty and diligence. He served as a pilot, but also enjoys flying in his free time as a hobby.

Brief background:- Daughter of Sutherian actress Maria Mengel and minor Bretonnian noble Duke Alexander Walton, Alice Walton has kept a relatively subtle-lifestyle most of her life tending to veer away from the public eye. This however never stopped her from pursuing her passion. Under various aliases, Alice has worked in her mother's industry. Some of her works have included working in numerous television art departments, an animator in various mainstream films and the director of a little-known Indie film Spring Calls. This life of secrecy is coming towards an end, however, as Queen Maria III has personally chosen Alice to be the Bretonnian mouth-piece in the Lodjain Court.

Brief background:- Second in line to be the head of the Andronikus Nomarchic Dynasty that presides over the minor city of Karitov. Possessing a natural charisma and manipulative nature he succeeded in rising through the Court before being spotted as a potential threat by the Counsel for Foreign Affairs who convinced the Autokrator to appoint him as Prime Envoy to the East thus dispatching him to another continent where his options for scheming would be limited.

Brief background: Princess Nessanië is the daughter of High Prince Lóteran (Brother of the Tar-Ancalimë Emperor and uncle of the Empress). In her youth the Princess studied art, etiquette, and languages eventually turning towards political and Mindarúcinan theory. She secretly sat for the triennial metropolitan Imperial Examinations under the pseudonym "Lindalë Haryanicarë" passing as an imma’istyar. The Grand Secretariat took notice of her achievements conscripting the Marquesa Yávien into the First Ministry. Though, not actually forbidden for members of the Imperial Clan to enter the Secretariat it has not been done during the Tercenë Dynasty. To maintain this tradition the Princess kept her pseudonym and alter ego. With consent from the Throne Princess Nessanië was appointed ambassador to Arda Tuluva's ally; the Queendom of Lodja, of which she dropped her alter ego to once again take her mantle as a Princess of the Imperial Dynasty.

Nessanië possess an intelligent and gifted mind. Like all members of the Imperial and aristocratic families the Marquesa Yávien is fond of, as well as a patron of, the arts and sciences. She speaks several languages; among them Quenya, Sindarin, Lodjan, English, and Latin. She is an avid player of the Arda Tuluvan game Go with a 5d ranking. The Princess is as a gold tiger (6th) of tanítaquárë[2] She plays polo, the official sport at Court. The Marquesa Yávien also enjoys reading science fiction novels and graphic novels.

Though she takes a great interest at the workings and intrigue of the Arda Tuluvan Imperial Court it is yet to be seen if she has any machinations currently at work.

According to Arda Tuluvan custom, at the age of 24 members of the Imperial Clan are enfeoffed with a title and honorary name. Thus, the title marquesa is only used with the name Yávien. It is also important to note that she is not "Marquesa Yávien", in Quenya "Aranel Listëa Yávien", but, rather, "the Marquesa Yávien", in Quenya "i Aranel Listëa Yávien". It is an important distinction as in Quenya the article "i", or "the", is hardly used in official speech. It is generally used to emphasize the importance and/or significance of the noun.

Brief background: Born as one of Robert of Niameck's many Grandchildren, Rudolph used his favorable circumstances to Focus on his own Education and Breezed through University to gain a Doctor title, yet he never really left his own Hometown much. In order to give his Grandson a little nudge outside his comfort Zone Robert of Niameck organized him to be the Ambassador in Lodja.

Appearence: Slender young man with half long curly Red Blonde Hair usually wearing round Brass Glasses over his Grey-Green Eyes. Roughly about 1,80 m Tall.

Name:- (Thenn) Berengar Wulfaric

Representing:- The Kingdom of Weremark (Jarldom of Falholm)
Titles/Roles:- Heir to the Jarldom of Falholm, Royal Ambassador of Weremark (5-year Writ), Richthereleoder of the Kyneshast, 2te. Sutmarkhast

Brief background:- Berengar Wulfaric is the oldest son of the famed Janus Wulfaric, Jarl of Falholm and the highest-ranking officer in the Werman military complex since Erik Matterhorn's defection in 2004. Brought up at the court of Falholm during a time of considerable strife, his childhood nestled between foreign invasions in the 1990s and the disastrous Werman Revolt in 2003, during which he distinguished himself as an 18-year old aircraft door gunner in the First Blackhorn Incursion. Now 32, his career has been largely split between his upward climb in the military rank structure following the creation of the Kyneshast, and his duties to court life, which he spends trying to court women after his first wife's conviction of treason in 2010. In 2015, having reached the advanced  rank of Richthereleoder, he arranged to be assigned as a diplomat, wishing to bolster his political experience, as the future Jarl of Falholm.

Wulfaric, though knowledgeable in weaponry, prefers to eschew that aspect of his military life for flying, which he has done recreationally for years. His other hobbies include rock drumming and folk music, and though he has been known to read, even forced to by the situation as court, he prefers to think about problems practically, a personality trait which first landed him on the candidate list for ambassadors to nations considered more 'difficult' in cultural difference or governmental structure.

Brief background:- A very close friend of King Lapu, he is a de jure nobility, as all of those in the Wewazkangz tribe. He was an ambassador to the Ecclesiastical State from 2000 to 2016 before being transfered to Lodjia.

Brief background:- Cato Irvine is one of the first generation nobility of Arwald. He was a lieutenant during the 2nd Arwaldian War of Independence. Cato was granted land and a title for his service in battle.
