UC invite to TUNA
« on: July 25, 2020, 08:58:43 PM »

Dear TUNA members

We would like to invite you to join our Naval and Air Forces for a series of manoeuvres in the Alucard. These exercises are designed to practice procedures for various naval scenarios. While this exercise is a regular even we believe it would interesting to have the input of several other nations.

We hope you accept this invitation.

To:- King Finley

While we can not speak for the whole of TUNA we would be delighted to join in your military exercises. We understand that you will have no doubt a plan in place for such a series of exercises but we would appreciate being able to run some drills focusing on search and rescue and also terrorist incidents at sea if time permits.

We furthermore would like to invite the ships of the Cenneg Navy to visit our ports during this time and enjoy our hospitality.

Best Regards

Emperor Benson.

Dear King Finley

We are delighted to accept your invitation and would like to invite you to use the islands of Grand Alucard and Alucard Minor as settings for the exercises if you permit.

We look forward to the event and also if permitted will like to have members of the East Moreland observers connected to our military on board our vessels to help evaluate our performance. We hope this is acceptable.

May Sessifet Bless You.

Queen Klara II.

The Six Dukedoms would be delighted to get involved in this exercise. In addition to the operations you plan to include we would be grateful if you would allow some of our soldiers to utilise technology from ZDS which is being developed. We find the more experience of unpredictable military interaction this technology is exposed to the better the quality of the data we gather.

May The Gods Watch Over You and Your Nation Know Peace

Grand Duke Hugo Lascelles.

To:- Emperor Benson, Queen Klara and Grand Duke Hugo

We are excited that you have accepted our invitation. We believe it is possible to conduct these exercises while at the same time accomodating each request.

With this in mind we propose the following timetable.

Saturday August 8th 2020 - Thursday 13th August 2020:- Operation Tropical Blue

A fleet made up of the aircraft carrier CRS Corpre, Ampihbious Warfare Ship CRS Muiredach , the submarines Rinnal and Fodbgen, the Frigate Lamdberg, the two Destroyers Edgar
and Alexander will meet with a Paracambian force at Alemba. Utilising any Paracambian offered assets and the CRS Mempricus we shall run a series of exercises including a simulated sinking at sea as well as a terrorist related incident. During these 5 days this fleet will move South towards Lodja's Isle of Tar.

Saturday August 8th 2020 - Thursday 13th August 2020:- Operation Forest Green

A fleet made up of the Aircraft Carrier CRS Corbmac , the Amphibious warfare ship CRS Tirech, their escorts of the Destroyers Modron and Murigan, along with the Submarines Luigne and Laigne. Will meet up with a Bakkermayan fleet near Wellow. Over the course of the next five days we will run exercises including a simulated amphibious landing on an uninhabited island as part of the Central Alucard Island chain. This fleet will then move towards Lodja's Isle of Tar.

Saturday August 8th 2020 - Thursday 13th August 2020:- Operation Goddess Blue

A fleet made up of the Amphibious Warfare Ship CRS Ailill, the submarine CRS Aillil Mac, the Frigates CRS Eriu and Ethniu as well as the Corvette Breasail[/url] will meet up with a Lodjain fleet near the island of Grand Alucard. Over the next five days the two nations shall conduct a variety of exercises focusing on combat operations. During this exercises will move towards the Isle of Tar. We naturally are happy for East Moreland observers to take part on board the Lodjain ships and should their duties be better served also offer them access to observe the exercise from our own ships.

Friday 14th August 2020 - Wednesday 19th August 2020:- Operation Tartan Green

The three exercises shall merge into a single exercise with a joint Cenneg and Lodjain fleet engaging in various simulated combat operations against a combined Paracambian and Bakkermayan fleet near the Isle of Tar. Unless Bakkermaya and Paracambi agree however at this point it may be neccessary for the Morelander observers to leave the exercise.

This notification is made public and should serve as a notice to civilian shipping in the area to take extra care when transiting the areas mentioned as sea traffic is likely to be unpredictable and more dense than normal.

Signed

With Operation Tartan Green and the three previous training exercises now complete it is expected the transit of the Central Alucard region should now be returning to normal.

We thank all vessels for their vigilance and care in avoiding the impacted regions during these exercises as well as extended a thanks to each of the participating nations. With the exercises now concluded we now believe would be an appropriate time for our nations to meet to discuss shared security and defence interests. With that in mind I would like to invite representatives from the three nations who joined with us to Claith for a formal debrief and discussion.

Many Thanks

King Finley of Ui Cenneslaig
