LEONARD WITH RENT BOY AS PEOPLE KILLED IN TERROR ATTACK!

Gossip Daily can exclusively reveal that King Leonard of Vaguzia's lack of a response to the Chapterhouse school attack. As children burned to death and parents were left in despair waiting for news the King was too busy fooling about in a bar with some cheap prostitute he had more than likely picked up off the streets of Vaguzia's many shady parts.

The claim have ignited anger among the Vaguzian public because many feel like the King is too busy swanning about with young men to care for the well being of his people. "Okay he has a life and I won't judge on that but when children are DYING and he's too busy messing about with some man whore then something has to be done because this is simply unacceptable behavior of a Monarch" said one woman we spoke to on the streets of Flumon.

The news has also got us at Gossip Daily wondering when the King will finally come clean and tell the world he is gay. As the evidence builds that day is inevitable and eventually the King's lies will catch up with him.

The Prime Minister signs the agreement. "For the Republic of Solonia, Prime Minister Świętosława Dobrzynska, on behalf of President Gościsław Misiaszek" she says to herself as she writes it out.

PROTESTS BREAK OUT OVER "WAR ON CONTRACEPTION"!

People are unhappy with the proposed changes.

It seems the government seriously underestimated support for contraception and a want for the legalization of abortion as hundreds of thousands of Solonians, lots of them young, have taken to the streets against the proposed plans to ban contraception which can "harm a woman's reproductive organs". The protests are one of the first signs of resistance against something the church in Solonia has supported since the fall of communism.

One young woman we spoke to, named Gracja, said that "the youth have had enough of the church telling the people what to do and how to live their lives and deciding what should be legal and what shouldn't be. Yes, I am a strong believer in God and I do believe that Solonians are a Catholic people but the nation of Solonia is a secular nation and the church must respect that, the times are changing and so must the church in Solonia. I do not want to have 3 children before I have even turned 25, I want to live my life to the fullest and the church is trying to stop that. I go to church, I pray, I am a devout christian but I don't want to catch a sexual caused illness or get pregnant whilst I am finishing my studies."

A poll conducted of people aged 16-30 by Słońce suggested that 51% of them are opposed to the banning of certain types of contraception, 37% support it and 12% hold no opinion on the matter.

CHURCH DECLARES WAR ON CONTRACEPTION!

The Church is encouraging the faithful not to use contraception.

Today the Catholic Church in Solonia released new guidelines calling for their Priests and teachers in Catholic Schools, which make up around 95% of Solonian schools, to tell people that contraception should not be used. The Church said that people must be taught that contraception is a sin and a danger to the nation. This is just the latest installment in the churches long running moral battle against the sins such as contraception and abortion which so many other nations in Mundus adopted as norms long ago. This battle looks like it will be hard fought but ultimately the Church will prevail as it always has done.

The church has also reportedly began to call for politicians to end any state funded family planning initiatives and ban any contraception which can cause harm to a woman's uterus. The ruling party already had a rather hardline stance on contraception but the support of the Church could provide them with the power to finally pass laws against the use of contraception.

Women's rights groups have criticized the Church's move but a spokesperson for the Archbishop of Kazimierzawa said "the church will not be told by group's wish despise us and criticize our every move. If women were really opposed to our opinions on abortion and contraception then surely the 60% of church attendees nationally that are women would have spoken up to their Priests but none have so far shown any opposition to the church's position because they know it is the will of God."

I think we should become an absolute monarchy under the Grand Chancellor and Vice Chancellor. However, I do feel we would need some sort of mechanism to remove a Grand Chancellor, Vice Chancellor or any Officer they appoint if an issue were to arise such as inactivity, breaking the law, etc.

"Ah I see. Well I believe that setting up an embassy would be easy to do rather quickly and if need be we could always find a temporary home for an embassy until a more suitable building is found or built" said Mr. Bilski. "As for the trade deal that is something we are definitely interested in as we believe that working with a larger and more advanced economy such as Achkaerin would definitely be suitable to Solonia" he added.

"I would be able to greet the ambassador and accept them to our country as soon as they could be sent out to us" said President Misiaszek.

"Yes I understand your frustration at immigrants who do not come and work but I'm sure you also appreciate that a vast majority of the Solonians who go to Balticum do work very hard to provide for themselves and their families and do not live off of the government. Anyway, I do believe that agreement regarding immigration is a good one however shouldn't a deal also discuss people immigrating on a more permanent basis rather than just those going for temporary things like business or on vacation. Also, those sausages definitely do have more spice, they're a national dish" said the Prime Minister.

President Gościsław Misiaszek shook Ms. Kennedy's hand and then Mr. Chambers'. "It's an honour to meet both of you, this is Mr. Bilski, the Minister of Foreign Affairs" he said. "Hello, lovely to meet you" Więcesław replied. "We will be heading to the Presidential Palace for the discussions, I hope that will be okay with you" added Więcesław. They then led the Achkaerinese diplomats to a car which had been sent and then they got in a separate car so the visiting group would not be uncomfortable. The cars then set off for the Presidential Palace escorted by the Police. On the way there the driver pointed out the many historical sites of Kazimierzawa to the Achkaerinese group so that they would get a little bit of a better understanding of the nations culture and history.

The cars arrived at the Palace and the driver opened the door for the visiting Achkaerinese dignitaries. The President and Minister of Foreign Affairs met them again and led them to the room they had set up. They were offered a drink if they wished to and were then given a seat at the table by the Presidential butler. "So. What do you wish to discuss first?" asked Minister Bilski.

"Hmmmm this seems like a fair deal to me." said the Minister Bilski. "Yes, I agree. I think this would definitely be a fair agreement and would be mutually beneficial to the both of us. I would also like to potentially discuss things like research and development teaming up with Balticum due to the fact your country is much more advanced than ours in things like this. But of course it depends on whether you would be willing to do something like that" replied Mrs. Dobrzynska.

"Thank you so much!" said Prime Minister Dobrzynska in response to being handed the gift. "We will be heading to the Royal Palace of Kazimierzawa for the meeting" said the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Minister then lead the PM and President Pomeroy to the car. The driver opened the door and the group got in, it was an SUV so there was plenty of space for all 3 of them. The car then sped off out of the airport followed by a police convoy. Bilski pointed out all the historic buildings and what their history was on the way however there wasn't much time to view them due to the speed the vehicle was going at. Before they knew it they were near the Palace.

Once they arrived the driver opened the door for the trio and then the PM led them to one of the many historic lounges, etc. where things for the meeting had been set up. "So...what would you like to discuss first President Pomeroy?" asked Mrs. Dobrzynska.

LOT Solonian Airlines has today announced that 3 new international routes will be opened to help further connect Solonia to the rest of the world. The 3 new routes are all heading to the 2nd biggest cities of countries where Solonian Airlines already has a presence.

The CEO of Solonian Airlines, Łucja Kowalska, announced that the 3 new destinations are Domanti in Vaguzia, the city of Hamburg in Balticum, and the city of Aofumiya in Himeyama. The CEO said that the destinations were selected out of over 15 cities worldwide considered for expansion and they were chosen either due to large demand for services to these countries or a feeling that there is unexplored economic potential in these cities for Solonian companies. The new routes will have Economy Class, Business Class and Business Star Class so that travellers may travel in comfort and style.

The new routes will open in December of this year.

It had been many years since the 92 year old former Communist President of Solonia, Rajmund Symanski, had been abroad due to his ailing health but he had decided that he would try to enjoy one last dance. He had been a very lonely man since his wife, Krystiana, had died several years ago and maybe he'd get to reconnect with some of his old pals. Many people had assumed that the former communist leaders had spoken kindly of each other through gritted teeth but this wasn't the case for Rajmund. He had actually enjoyed the company of some of his fellow leaders and it had given him a chance to get away from the stresses of ruling a slowly collapsing communist regime. Although he was no longer in power in Solonia and had no relations to it's government he still wanted to portray a good image of his homeland because he was proud to call Solonia his home and would be proud to do so until the day he died.

Rajmund climbed out the car with the help of his driver who then handed him his walking stick. "Thank you, kind sir" he said to him, the driver nodded and then went to get back into the drivers seat. He walked over to Vice President Pasternak and shook his hand. "It's great to meet the next generation of the communist revolution" he said smiling and shaking his hand.

The Prime Minister looked forward to meeting the President of Balticum. She knew that she had to get on his good side or the many Solonians who lived in Balticum may face some repercussions that would've been caused by no fault of their own. She had heard rumours of his dislike for immigrants, especially those who originated from Solonia, and didn't want to increase inflame this hatred any more. She was slightly jittery as she didn't have much experience in foreign affairs but she felt a bit better once she had given a her cross necklace a kiss and asked god for good luck in the meeting ahead. She saw the airport up ahead and let out a sigh, whether it was one of relief or worry even she didn't know.

The Prime Minister's official car pulled up inside the airport and she climbed out and walked over to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Więcesław Bilski.

"Is everything ready?" asked the Prime Minister
"Indeed it is." replied Więcesław
"Well I assumed so, everything is obviously in good hands." she said
"Thank you." Więcesław said
"Do you have any experience with Mr. Pomeroy?" she asked
"No I do not. I have heard he isn't fond of Solonian immigrants though." he replied
"Yes...I've heard." she said rather awkwardly
"Well this will be fun." the Prime Minister added
"Definitely..." Więcesław replied through gritted teeth
"We'll just have to wait and see what he says about immigration. I hope we haven't opened Pandora's box with that one." the Prime Minister said
"As do I." Więcesław replied
"Oh that looks like his plane there." he added looking up to the sky and pointing.
"Well good luck to us then." the Prime Minister responded

The two then simultaneously had a deep breath before turning around and facing where the plane would taxi into.

HIGH SPEED TRAIN FROM KAZIMIERZAWA TO RÓWNOLEGŁA OPENS!

The first train leaving Kazimierzawa.

Today Prime Minister Dobrzynska opened the new Zakada High Speed Railway from Kazimierzawa, the capital, to Równoległa, the second largest city in Solonia. The linking of the two cities by a new highspeed railway presents new economic oppurtunities for those cities and the whole nation of Solonia.

Speaking at the opening the Prime Minister said "the first high speed railway in Solonia shows to the world that our nation is committed to achieving it's full potential and it also shows them that the government of Solonia is dedicated to fostering this in any way possible. This new railway has shown what can happen when great Solonian minds work together and it has also taught us a very valuable lesson as a nation. That lesson is that we must never put ourselves down and that we must always work hard towards reaching our goals. I could not be prouder to stand here before you all today and open this amazing masterpiece of engineering."

The high speed railway will commence full operations next week. It is estimated that it will increase the flow of goods and other things between the two cities by around 170%.

17 KILLED IN SHOOTING IN SE CITY

In a shooting today in San Esperito City 17 people have been murdered. The murders are believed to be drug related. This is the 26th shooting in SE City this month with the police believed to be at a breaking point with around 2 shootings everyday. The murders have lead to calls for the government to declare a state of emergency to deal with the situation. This year there has already been a 58% increase in drug related violence compared to last year.

The impact is also felt on the youngest in the country with around 237,000 under 16s having lost at least one parent to the gun violence. On the scene of the shooting a young girl could be seen crying over the body of her dead father. "The impact on our young people is immense. Sometimes it can lead their family to fall even further into poverty because if they lose a parent, especially a father, a large proportion of their income is gone. So then they may be forced to leave school to help support the family meaning that facilities to help them with their mental health are lost. The government really needs to step up in this regard." said child psychologist Dr. Luisa Murillo.

The good news from this extremely sad story is that the SE City police chief, Raul Arboleda, says the police are on the trail of the person who committed this horrific crime.

"WE MUST OPEN OUR HEARTS TO THOSE LESS FORTUNATE" SAYS ARCHBISHOP

The Archbishop of Kazimierzawa, Ignacy Mroz.

In a shocking speech today the Archbishop of Kazimierzawa has called out the government on it's strict stance regarding refugees and immigrants. Normally the church and the state are closely aligned but when it comes to immigration, specifically regarding refugees, the two normally agree to disagree but Ignacy Mroz has chosen to reignite the debate.

"We must open up our hearts to those less fortunate in the world" is what the Archbishop started off by saying before going into the rest of his speech. "We see so much pain and suffering. We see people persecuted just for their beliefs, whether they are religious or political ones. As Christians we must welcome them into our homes and give them shelter from the evils of the outside. They have already been through so much but they still must go through so much more because we do not allow them to come to our safe haven. Why must we be close minded?

Solonia used to have many different peoples and they all got along very well. Of course the times changed and things happened but we've done it back then so why can't we do it now? There are so many potential neighbours, friends and fellow churchgoers who are not given a chance, we can give them a chance. I beg you to remember how the world has kindly welcomed our Solonian brothers and sisters into their countries,
so surely we can welcome others into ours too."
