BIOGRAPHY
Born in the closing years of the Kingdom of Halych, Oleksiy Lysenko has had a long career in the military stretching as far back as 1983. Having formerly served in the Red Army, he earned acclaim as an officer in the disastrous First Volhynian War. Despite his service to the People's Republic, he was never a communist at heart, and as a result backed the Coup in 1997 that led to the establishment of the Republic of Halych. Yet, despite his hopes for a strong Halychian state, he instead saw it fall into corruption and oligarchy over the years. While he served in the Second Volhynian War, he knew the Republic's days were, as it stood, numbered. In 2019, as the civil war began, it became clear that the old soldier needed to take up arms once more to save his homeland, his people.

Nobody was going to stop him.

BIOGRAPHY
Some said that the royalty would never return to Halych, that those who escaped the purges of the People's Republic had deemed the country a lost cause. Vitomir, however, stands as an example to the contrary. While his family remains abroad, he returned to his ancestral homeland with the hope of seeing peace be restored, no matter if his family were returned to power. While it was undeniable that many among the White Forces did want him or his father on the throne, it mattered little to him when he got off the plane in Chernihiv, back in 2019. Now, after three years, the civil war is over, and perhaps his hard-won efforts to bring healing to the nation may allow his family to return home, either as the nation's leaders or, as with many refugees before them, as yet another family seeking to rebuild their lives.
