Location: The Imperial Diet, Pyrettania, Rokkenjima
Time: 6:45 AST
Nothing could have prepared her for this moment, absolutely nothing, and as all the focus was placed upon Kikyo sharing the stage with Empress Serenity she fumbled. "Your Majesty, may I, can I, I'm sorry," she paused, "I don't have words for this moment. I mean the Empress of Rokkenjima herself sends her personal plane to fly a team of high school students to Pyrettania here and here I am, stood across from the Achkaerinese Empress, and I have no words," she paused for a moment before finding her ground again, "but I have to ask while I have the opportunity, why do we get you and the Rokkenjimans get the Vicegerent? I mean no disrespect to the man, he's well regarded even in Jenka-Jenkinson, but why do we get such a heavy hitter guiding the foreign side of this debate, so to speak? Did my school make a payment to give us an advantage?" she asked to the chuckling of her delegation.
With a stern motion Kikyo silenced them before continuing, to her surprise. "I mean we'll take whatever advantage we can here but, and mind you I was glued to the TV as Emerson unveiled the new Constitution but just damn, do they feel we have that poor a position to argue from? We're the underdogs here," she said as she turned her attention to her delegation, "and where they expect us to fumble but, hear me out here, I promise we're going to present the most concise, coherent and competent argument we can for our side of the argument, do you hear me?" she paused before saying again, "did you hear me?!" which garnered applause within her delegation." "There it is," she paused with a smile before looking over to Serenity, "guide us to victory, harness our voices to our cause, and thank you for being here with us today. I won't, unlike some," she said looking over to a certain boy, "ask you for an autograph but I will ask you to lead us true and," she paused again, "toward victory!"
