Marauder

Quint is, as the name implies, a Quintuple Combination Pumper. Equipped with both a pump like a fire engine and a ladder of a ladder truck, it's a jack of all trades with a 100 foot ladder.

A heavy ladder truck equipped with a 175' foot ladder, this is a must have for metropolitan fire departments with hi-rise buildings.

Rescuer
Our heavy rescue offers true tool-box capabilities with space for all the heavy rescue and search and rescue equipment needed. Perfect for city departments or departments with highway coverage. Also good for Hazardous Materials Response (HAZMAT) teams.

Wildland
Wildland is a two door four passenger (two seats in rear) for departments with wildland/brush fire supression requirements. This truck is capable of carrying water to a forest fire miles from any road.

It has been one hundred and seven years since we declared our independence from Orania on September 9th, 1910. As with every year, we hold independence celebrations including fireworks, a military parade, and a gala. However, for the first time as a signal of renewed international cooperation, we are inviting international delegations to attend. A small contingent from attending nations may be in the parade as well.

Accepting bids for CAS design

The Cascadian Air Force is accepting foreign bids for a Close Air Support fighter design to replace the department's aging A7 Bearcat model. The ideal proposal:
  • Is sufficiently capable of delivering sufficient close air support to ground troops
  • Is capable of long loiter times
  • Is capable of operating in a area of operations where air supremacy is not guaranteed
  • Is capable of operating air supremacy operations against helicopters and other small aircraft
  • Is capable of longevity and sustaining damage from ground fire and etc.

Offers may be made to the Cascadian Defense Ministry. All offers will be reviewed.

State of Emergency Order (2017)

WHEREAS on 26th August 2017, His Excellency the Chancellor Emeritus disabled access to the forum, demoted all other administrators and demoted all officers on the NationStates region,

AND WHEREAS Her Excellency the Grand Chancellor is determined that this satisfies the conditions of section (4) of the Emergency Procedures Act (2014),

Her Excellency the Grand Chancellor, exercising powers under section (4) of the Emergency Procedures Act (2014), and with the advice and consent of the Regional Nobility, orders as follows:

(1) A Level One State of Emergency is declared.

(2) This declaration shall retrospectively take effect from 26th August 2017.

(3) The following members shall sit on the Council of Nobility:

DaveIronside
Achkaerin
Hobbes

(4) The Grand Chancellor may, with the consent of the Council of Nobility, enact any primary or secondary legislation, or make any other decision vested or exercised by the Grand Chancellor, Premier or Regional Assembly.

(5) Appeals to the High Court shall be suspended, but cases arising due to actions during the period of this emergency may be heard upon the resumption of normal procedures.

(6) This Order shall remain in force for a maximum of 3 months, or until an earlier time appointed by the Grand Chancellor.
