Welcome! On February 14th, Luna will be having an tour available for all global leaders to attend at the Royal Palace! February 14th is a traditional holiday called the Heart Festival, and this year, it’s optimistic government decided to start something diplomatic instead of the usual bells and whistles, hopefully meeting some foreign guests and having a very dignified event. We offer our delicious dining and luxury furniture, with interesting entertainment and technology that we would love to introduce to our guests. We hope that you will find interest in attending.

To attend, please send a private letter (OOC: posted in this thread of course) to Cadence, our special director of the event. He will handle everything for here on out. Since the event will last over the course of three days (One day before 14th and one day after 14th), please state which times you will be available to attend. Also include how your going to arrive, who will arrive, any security accompanying, and other customized information that we need to know. If we accept your delightful application, we will send a letter back to you.

The only rules to this event is no smoking, drugs, indecent materials (we don’t need another incident on TV tonight), or illegal materials that may violate laws. Use common sense and try not to curse in front of everyone. Respect, Dignity, and appropriate conduct is expected and valued at the event. Thanks for your understanding!

The signup date will close at February 12th (if your attending the day before 14th), 13th (if your attending 14th), and 14th (if your only attending the day after 14th). Unauthorized guests will be escorted and reasonable security measures will be used.

Having received your friendly invitation and being a nation with which we have very little diplomatic contact I am delighted to inform you that King David and Queen Stasya will be thrilled to attend your event. They will be accompanied by a small security detail as is standard procedure which shall be headed by the King's Head of Security Will Buckley. Please expect the royal aircraft, Ironside One, to arrive at your convenience as suits the timetable of the event.

His Majesty requests, should the festivities allow, to also have a private diplomatic discussion with representatives of your government however should this not be possible then perhaps a visit by your nation to East Moreland could be arranged to allow this to happen at a later date.

Cadence shrugged. They had forgotten that two bright letters had appeared in their inbox a week ago, and now all the fancy palaces weren’t gonna happen overnight. “That’s some kind of business that needs to be stopped” he lobbied to the government, who’s suspicious that he had went on vacation himself to a Ski Resort, ignoring the tour for personal enjoyment. Because they were wary of arguments, the government had decided to make a replacement tour.

“It’s is importance for us to declare our great sadness directed at the devastation of the event, with it’s destruction tied to personal enjoyment and abuse. We would like to announce that the nation will start be taking the visitors at everything planned, but instead of celebrating the Event, we will have a discussion and a sophisticated lecture/textbook provided on it and a fun hands on activity. Hopefully, you will still find the courage to attend. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience everyone!”

Naturally missing out on a cultural experience had saddened King David. He'd always enjoyed getting to see how other nations celebrated their cultures and often hogged any overseas visits which gave him a chance to partake. Despite the initial tour event being cancelled he still had the Palace make arrangements for him and Queen Stasya to attend, after all he had said he would visit and when a Morelander said they'd do something it was as good as done, at least that was what the King believed and so he had arrived in Luna on Ironside One along with his wife and their small entourage.

The delegation from Mktvartvelo attended without much hopes, given the lack of previous diplomatic reactions in the last decade between both countries. Still, it seemed a chance to improve ties and make contacts, even beyond the own hosts. As a sign of courtesy, even if they were hopeful to open the window for business and productive agreements, as it was traditional, brought some presents to the hosts, as the visit was aimed to be understood of a more cultural than political nature. Ambassador Okropir Mgeladze awaited the delegation, expecting to serve as connection with the hosts.
