DaveIronside:
In the past the region has had some very unrealistic militaries. Thankfully we've always had people willing to work with us and change. When people have found military realism something they struggle with I've been happy to build a military for them therefore I'm rolling this out.

For the huge fee of £0.00 up front and then just £0.00 per month for 360 months I'll have a go at putting together a military factbook for you.

If you want me to do this it may take two weeks or so depending on workload and I'll need the following information.

--- Code: ---Nation Name:-
Type of government:-
GDP per capita:-

What if any military threats does your nation face?

What is your nations landscape like?

The nation's military is primarily focused on the defense of the country/defense oriented, externally but also internally although it has in the past and present sent troops with medicinal and food aid for peacekeeping operations, as well as participating in counter-terrorism operations and other military interventions.

What is your nations current foreign policy stance? E.g emerging from isolation / Building trade connections/ worried about the monster coming over the hill etc.
Currently trying to establish contacts with other nations politically, economically, culturally etc, as well trying to maintain its good relations with neighbours and contribute to anti-terrorism fighting.

Ecclesiastical Army of Christ

- Ecclesiastical Army Ground Forces
The ground force of the Ecclesiastical State, the Forza di Terra dates back to the beginning of ES following Pope Saint Peter's ascension in 33 AD. In the beginning, the Army existed solely to defend the State from various external threats and to consolidate Church control over the various maritime republics, principalities and duchies (as well as colonies) within its borders. Since the 1970 re-organisation the Forza di Terra has engaged various forms of Sionist uprisings and revolts in the north-west. Since the 1990s, the Forza di Terra has engaged in peacekeeping missions around Albion. The Forza di Terra also includes the International Corps of the Blessed Faith Militant, a service branch comprised of both ES and foreign nationals. The BICFM was created in the 1831 as an expeditionary force, to be sent in support of Catholic governments against anarchist/leftist rebellions, or uprisings. Today, it is a well-trained elite force of around 10,000*, operating under the same internationalist objectives.

- Ecclesiastical Army Navy
The navy of the Ecclesiastical State was created in 33 AD, following the proclamation of the formation of the State. The new navy's focus remained solely in the defence of the waters around the Ecclesiastical State, but grew and modernised steadily with Papal assistance. With the 1970 reform and reorganisation, the Marina Militare Ecclesiastica was re-orientated to being able to project power into the Artinian Sea once again since the Great War. Since 1990, the navy has greatly expanded its surface fleet, as well as its submarine fleet with new hunter-killer class submarines and frigates. The Guardia Costiera (Coast Guard) is a component of the navy and was created in 1809. Finally,The EAN also operates two brigades of marines, known as the San Andrea Force.

- Ecclesiastical Army Air Force
The Ecclesiastical Army Air Force is the ES's aerial warfare force. Formed  on 1 April 1918, it is the among oldest independent air forced in the world. Since its formation, the EAAF has taken a significant role in Ecclesiastical military history. Today the Air Force maintains an operational fleet of various types of aircraft, described as being "leading-edge" in terms of technology. This largely consists of fixed-wing aircraft, including: fighter and strike aircraft, airborne early warning and control aircraft, ISTAR and SIGINT aircraft, aerial refueling aircraft and strategic and tactical transport aircraft.

- Guardians of Saint Peter's Throne
The Guardians of the Saint Peter's Throne is among the oldest branches of the EAC, having been created as early as 33 AD. The Guardians are responsible for the safety of the Pope, including the security of the Apostolic Palace and the personal safety of all Cardinals residing within the Ecclesiastical State. The Guardians are the smallest branched of the EAC, numbering between 800 and 1,200*. They are renown for their unique ceremonial guard dress and are a popular aspect for tourists visiting the Vatican in ES. Recruits to the guards must be unmarried Catholic males between 19 and 30 years of age who have completed basic training with the militaries of select countries, making the force intrinsically international. In 1941 the small force was expanded and re-trained, to eventually include the Guardians of Saint Paul (Guardiani di San Paolo; also known as the Sciarii), the nation's special forces unit alongside the Blessed Arditi, who's duties include covert reconnaissance, counter-terrorism, direct action and hostage rescue. Not much is known of the Sicarii, due to the highly classified nature of their existence. It is estimated however, that they number between 200 and 250*, forming four distinct groups; the Maritime Sicarii, the Air Sicarii, the Mobile Sicarii and the Alpine Sicarii, each specialising in their respective terrain.

*Numbers subject to change

Take all the time do you need to do this, it is not a problem to me.

Landscape: Country is an island. Mostly grasslands, but also forests and mountains.

Technology: Advanced, fiirst world-like.

How the military has been used?: Defensive purpose; internal and external defense, also as help to allies and expeditionary forces. At peacetime, support in case of crisis.

Tamed_Untamed:
Nation Name: Sirinisi
Type of government: Triarchy/Troika
GDP per capita: 34,711
Population: 177 million
National Service: Y (men serve for 1 year, women serve for 2)

What if any military threats does your nation face? So far, the Sirinisians have reason to believe that they do not have to fight now. They believe that the threats to their nation could only come from nations who they think are waging war too much. They are interested in joining an alliance.

What is your nations landscape like? To the north, there are many waterfalls, forests and hills. To the east, it is completely flat plains. To the west and south, it is hotter and more open.

How technologically advanced is your nation? A mix of the advanced and the simple

Historically how has your military been used? To protect Sirinisians and to keep the free nations together

What is your nations current foreign policy stance? E.g emerging from isolation / Building trade connections/ worried about the monster coming over the hill etc.

(The nation has been emerging from a bit of isolation. So they are eager to explore and to find new allies.)
