Secretary Burkhardt Kvalheim visited today the Republic of Fleur in an official visit to the Albion country. There, he, along the other members of the Juglander delegation, met from representatives from the Republic of Fleur. The meeting was constructive, mostly focused in the need to increase cooperation in fields such as education, cultural affairs, security, or energy. Both sides agreed to sign a treaty of mutual cooperation to put forward the agreements proposed previously during the visit of Directeur Debauson to the Federal Union of Jugland, earlier this year.
Memorandum of Friendship and Cooperation between the Federal Union of Jugland and the Republic of Fleur
The Federal Union of Jugland and the Republic of Fleur agree to increase cooperation in the fields of security and defense, aimed to strengthen cooperation between countries and international peace.
The governments of the Republic of Fleur and the Federal Union of Jugland agree to cooperate in the fields of culture and education. For that aim, they have agreed to:
- the creation of an Office of Cultural Interchange in each country aimed to facilitate contact with university, colleges, and high education institutions in the host country, as well as establish and facilitate access to language and education requisites.
- suspension for the need of VISA up to a year for Juglander citizens in Fleur and Fleuoix citizens in Jugland who have registered and enrolled in an official higher education course.
- both parties also agree to increase cultural cooperation in order to promote the culture, the arts and language of both countries through education activities, arts exhibition and cultural events.
The governments of the Federal Union of Jugland and the Republic of Fleur agree to launch and increase cooperation on the safe and peaceful uses of nuclear energy, enabling:
- cooperation on the construction of three nuclear plants in Juglander soil.
- the supply and/or transfer of nuclear material, technology and equipment.
- interchange of technology in the fields of production of nuclear energy, nuclear technology, nuclear safety and the management of radioactive waste as well as and radiation protection.
- commitment too ensure the implementation and promotion of the improvement of international nuclear safety standards.
Secretary Kvalheim declared to be looking forward to working with the Republic of Fleur to increase and strengthen cooperation between both countries.
