Formed in early 5th Century BC the settlement of Seeney was made by the Ulma Tribe upon an isle in a lake base in the East of modern time Heimney. The settlement gave protection from many raid upon the land and predatorial animal for the tribes grazing stock. Once though Seeney reach around the size of 2,500 according to archaeological estimate it was needed to push from their safety. Under the leadership of King Hrodulf Jöllenbeck the tribe slowly engage in conflict with surronding tribe until by 1st century AD they control much of the East of Alba Karinya. The people began to form more settlement and period of rebellion and attacks continued until the 14th Century. During this the now establish Ulma look for other land and in this time a nobleman discover land to claim in West Aranye. For time this noble paid tribute to leaders in Ulma but then in 1576 this land became seperate Kingdom of Altona. This was during a civil war in Ulma which the Altonan refuse to send support for their liege lord. In 1576 the warlord Wieland Schwenke ended the war and once more bring the tribe together. He renamed the nation as it now absord some smaller tribe and call it Home Island both as it was a reminder of the tribe lands being home of the Ulma but in reference to the ceremony capital of Seeney.

GOVERNMENT OF HEIMNEY

In Heimney faith there is belief that there are two God in authority and each pick a representative on Mundus. As such the government of Heimney is often called a Diarchy, two monarchs. One monarch is responsible for affairs within the lands while the other is responsible for matters of foreign affairs including the armed forces. There are complex rule for the passing of the crown. It must remain within family and should pass to eldest child of same gender as holder. For example if Queen dies her eldest daughter inherits the throne, if then no daughter passed to son. Should both monarch be the same gender when one dies the rule is eldest child of the deceased from opposite gender must inherit as to have balance one monarch should be male the other female. It is considered a time of potential ill luck if monarchs are same gender. It is forbidden for monarchs to marry each other but families have and often do.

THE RED CROWN (HEAD OF STATE) - FOREIGN AFFAIRS

The Red Crown is worn by the monarch for Foreign Affair and are considered the Head of State for they represent the nation with others. They may do the following conditions.

*Sign treaties with other nations
*Organise and command the armed forces
*Oversee policy on trade
*Promote the culture of the nation.

The Kronrat may over-rule the Red Crownif they have a 2/3 super majority and that of the Blue Crown.


THE BLUE CROWN (HEAD OF GOVERNMENT) - HOME AFFAIRS

The Blue Crown is worn by the monarch for Home Affairs and are considered the Head of Government and represent the wish of the people. They may do the following

*Establish Education policy
*Make judge appointment
*Oversee election
*Set Health Policy
*Maintain infastructure
*Make laws
*Establish tax rules

The Kronrat may over-rule the Blue Crown if they have a 2/3 super majority and that of the Red Crown.

 THE KRONRAT - CROWN COUNCIL

The Kronrat is an elected body made from 281 people. The Kronrat is elected every four year and to be part you must be a citizen and never been guilty of a crime. The Kronrat discuss every decision to be made by the two crown and may if 2/3 vote overturn the rules made by the crown. The Kronrat may also suggest rules on changes for the nation and if given majority the monarch involved must appear before the Kronrat within 48 hours to explain if they will do it and why.

In the 21st Century technology has been utilised in the Kronrat that monarch is permitted to address via applications like Zoom meaning they do not always need to be in building for when things happen.

Each monarch main Ministers for their support which need not be members of the Kronrat, they may be anyone. To be Minister though the person wishing to be appointed must attend the Kronrat who will determine if they are a good selection. The Majority vote of Kronrat determines if they may serve.

THE DUALITY FAITH

Originally the Universe had many Gods and Goddesses. Each of these had their own favoured race or tribe. The Gods derived their prestige from the number of beings who worshipped them. Jealous of the power of each other a mighty Galactic War began. At first humans and the other beings were unaware of this going yet the growing number of natural disaster and symbol in the skies slowly gave clues. The various races were defeated one by one until the human race under the Goddess Sandraudiga and her lover Heremod emerged victorious. They gave power on Mundus to their Champions and believe that they should rule in order to defend humanity. They set a series of rules for their children the humanity. Today the Champions are considered the monarchs of the nation of Heimney.

1. Pray to the Dual Gods three time daily, upon waking, when the sun is highest and before sleeping.
2. Multiply to ensure power of prayer grows.
3. Carry out sacrifice of other species to honour the Gods victory.
4. Maintain the human body in a state of strength.
5. Show love to all of the Dual Gods creation.
6. Show love to the Dual Gods Champions for their word is backed by the Gods.
7. The Dual Gods have created perfect order. Do not seek to break what Gods create.
8. A person must lead a good productive life to ensure perfect rebirth.

The faithful believe that it is important to conform to the social roles as identified by the Gods. A man must seek to be like Heremod, a good soldier, physically strong, able to hunt well and a skilled craftsman. Meanwhile a woman must seek to be like Sandraudiga, a caring mother, able to defend her family, intelligent and beautiful. Through history this saw men and women equally take part in combat. This saw raise of legendary shieldmaidens and warriors who are considered Soldier of Sandraudiga/Heremod. To become one you must in essence be what the Priesthood call a "Warrior Poet" wise and demonstrate skills of combat either martial artists or modern soldiering.

To maintain to the rules of their faith a Duality follower will raise early and carry out physical exercise after committing prayer. Next they shall place gifts of flowers and food at statues of the Gods. A Dualist will refrain from smoking, will drink alcohol only ritually, will seek to maintain their weight, will learn martial arts of some variety and will refuse drugs unless medical. Once a week Dualists will carry out sacrifice of an animal to the Gods and appoint the statues in the family home with blood.

At death people of the faith believe that you are judged by the Soldiers of of Sandraudiga/Heremod. If you are perfect you return to live with the Gods. If you are not perfect you are given a new physical body and reborn. The closeness to perfect determines how long until rebirth. Those who are great evil people will take maybe thousand of years during which the soul lives in pain.

The faith is run by the Dual Temples on a day to day basis. The Temple of Sandraudiga is run by female priestesses who ensure ritual and rules are maintained. The Temple of Heremod is run by male Priests who do the same for their side of the faith.

The Diarchy of Hassfurt is largely committed to it faith followed by the majority of the nation. As such there are a number of key rituals that an individual undergoes. These are hugely important and can be a key part of a persons future prospects in the Dirachy. Some rituals are legally required by all regardless of your own faith.

A week after Birth	The Planting of the Seed	The child is taken by it parents to the local Temple and there a naming ceremony similar to a Christian baptism is held. The Priestess of Sandraudiga and the Priest of Heremod present the parents with a seed each. Sandraudiga with the seed of a fruit tree to symbolize future fertility. The Priest of Heremod gives a gift of a yew tree seed (as yew was used in bows). These seeds are then taken back to the woodlands nearest the childs birthplace and planted. It is expected the family throw a big party after.
12th Birthday	Joining the Gods Army	The child on this day is formally made part of the faith. If a person dies before this ceremony they are instantly reborn as it is deemed they are not yet fully responsible. On this day at sunrise the family go to the local river or lake. The child is washed in the waters and is then taken to the Temple. The daily ceremony takes place early in the morning. All those reaching their 12th birthday are dressed in a plain white robe and arrive at the Temple. There they bring a sacrifice. They are for the first time permitted to carry out sacrifice and touch the alter. The meat from the sacrifice is then prepared and eaten by the family in a joint meal with those also celebrating that day if any
18th birthday	The Day of Blood	On the Monday following their 18th birthday a member of the faith is expected to demonstrate a devotion to the two Gods. All those taking part in the ceremony are paraded through the street in a black robe with their head covered. Upon reaching the temple they are split male and female. The participants are expected to stand in a chalked circle in the Temple and try and throw others out of the circle. The idea is not to win but to show bravery. If deemed to have tried hard and acted bravery the initiate is permitted to perform a sacrifice of a small animal for the Gods. This brings about a special blessing.
Marriage	Day of Oneness	Marriage is not seen as vital in Duality. Procreation is is considered most important. Should two people wish to marry they may. The evening before the marriage day the Priest visits the bride, Priestess the groom and inspect that they are in good health. The day of the wedding the pair are bound together and placed inside a chalked circle. The pairing must stay within the circle as the Priest and Priestess try and force them from it. It is predetermined that they do not get pushed from the circle. The victory over the Priesthood shows that the Gods support the union,
30th Birthday	The Renaming	By the age of 30 it is assumed a person has given service to the Gods. It is expected that on the 30th birthday the person attend temple taking gifts for the God of the same gender. They are asked to account for their actions to the Priest or Priestess. Once finished they are required to take a new middle name. Following this ceremony they are supposed the visit their trees from birth and leave offerings.
50th Birthday	End of Burden	On the 50th birthday a persons duty to physically fight for the faith is considered over. They are required to bring a homemade weapon to the Temple of their gender. They are accompanied by family. The person celebrating their birthday hands over their weapon to the Priest or Priestess. It is then placed on the alter for a lunar month. If the weapon is still there (it always is) the person's duty to stand physical ready is considered done. The person is then presented with a Holy Scroll symbolizing their duty is now to guide those younger.
Death	The Reckoning	The deceased is washed in the same river or lake as they were for their 12th birthday. The family then fell the trees planted at birth. The wood from the trees is used to make a funeral fire. The robe from the Joining of The Gods Army is thrown on the fire, as is the scroll for the End of Burden. Once the fire had stopped they take the ashes and sprinkle them in the woods where the trees were planted. Should a person die before these land mark date those that they have reached are used only.

THE ARMED FORCES OF HASSFURT

The Armed Forces of Heimney are divided into five sections.

1. The Army - Commanded by the Red Crown and made up of approx 98,000 soldiers.

2. The Air Force - Commanded by the Red Crown and made up of approx 43,000 airmen.

3. The Navy - Commanded by the Red Crown and made up of approx 31,000 sailors

The above three branches also contain individuals conducting their compulsary military service.

4. The Red Guard Corps - A semi-elite unit commanded by the Red Crown. A kind of self contained military that undertake both combat and policing roles. There is approx 19,000 of these individuals.

5. The Women's Combat Corps - A force made up exclusively of women. They are commanded by the Red Crown and act as a militia and a kind of national self defence force. They are approx 10,500 of these.

THE RED GUARD CORPS

The Red Guards are men and women who have served at least five years in the military and have an outstanding record. A Red Guard automatically outranks a person of identical rank drawn from other units. To become a member the individual must also complete an additional entrance exam and fitness test with the pass rates put at a higher rate than the other branches of the military. They serve as both combat soldiers as well as undertaking a policing role in sensitive areas such as around Palaces and embassies. They serve as almost a self-contained military

They are used like a national defense force but are capable of overseas operations. They are recruited from women who have served at least two years in any branch of the military but must also pass an additional test. They also provide the ceremonial guard for all the Blue Crown's residences as a gift from the Red Crown. Often the WCC are used to test new equipment for the military.

THE RED CROWN

CHAMPION OF SANDRAUDIGA

Sandraudiga is the Goddess of the Duality faith. She was the most gifted of the two Gods in command of armies. As a result the monarch for Foreign Matters represent her and it is considered the best of fortune if also a female but this is not essential.

CURRENT MONARCH

Queen Friðuswiþ I from the Wägner bloodline

The Queen was born in 2002 and is youngest Red Queen in history of the nation.

The Queen took the crown in 2021 when her mother died of disease she had for some time so was no surprise. Friðuswiþ is a polyglot speaking German, Vaguzian, Morelandish and Latin. At the time of taking the crown she was studying Art History at University while inside the University Air Cadet. She is competant pilot of light airplane and also was in University Judo club. She since becoming Queen has to leave University but continue with tutor part time studying. Laws state that as Queen but under 21 time must come to do national service but this will be in reserve force and the Queen has stated she will be part of Women's Combat Corps aviation unit.

The Queen main advice comes at present from her uncle Jeremias who has served as Minister of Education before his niece take the throne.

CHAMPION OF HEREMOD

Heremod is the God of the Duality Faith. The God was shown to be a great organisational force in the wars and as now the Blue Crown holder is responsible for managing the affairs of daily Heimney. The omens say this is best if the crown is carried by a man but still not essential.

King Eadric III from the Sorg bloodline

The King was born in 1937 and became King in 1979. In his youth he served in the Navy onboard first a battleship then a Frigate. He tried to join the Red Guard but failed. In the Navy he served as a communications officer. He maintains a relationship with Lady Wilma Haumann who he named as Queen in 1982. The two have several children that Eadric have in line of succession.
